We're heartbroken to learn a student in our community was injured by the accidental discharge of a gun today. Remember that gun locks are available FREE at all of our libraries. Stop in and ask - and help prevent the next tragedy.

AACPL will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, 1/29, as we continue to clear our properties of snow and ice. AACPL will be open on Friday, 1/30.
Folks, please wait to return your items until the libraries have reopened. We are still closed today because we are working to clear the ice from lots and sidewalks. We want everyone to stay safe in these very icy conditions. Remember, AACPL does not charge overdue fines.

The events Solving the Enigma Code, scheduled for November 1 at Eastport Library and Talking In Code: Native American Code Talkers: A History of the WWII Native American Code Talkers*, scheduled for November 5 at Deale Library, have been canceled due to the ongoing government shutdown. 1/2
