This really isn't like the media normally, like yeah it's not uniform, and the MSM gets there usually, but this was the reaction basically at the start, not weeks in, and it's only going to get worse as the actual consequences start to manifest.
Trump is already going off the rails, I think it will get worse. He probably expected some degree of tepid awe from the media, which to be fair is their standard reaction to military adventurism, instead the media reaction is mainly disturbed shock and confusion, worried about consequences.
