It's this weird submissive dynamic that speaks volumes about how people feel about being told what to do and how to do it.
For all the rhetoric about freedom, people don't back up the talk with action or principles.
What I despise as much as the app being a god-awful mess, is that signing into a work or school account on your PC automatically allows them to change settings on your PC under the guise of organizational settings. Very annoying to remove. I love being locked out of my own PC settings 🤦♂️

Alright I'll look into that. I'm not 100%, but I think if I get the top tier in Le Mans Ultimate they give you rFactor2 with it, since it's the same dev. LMU is what I play mostly now, but going to look into some other stuff too. I'm learning RBR, waiting on AC:E to get good, F1 25, BeamNG, etc.

I think my eyes were big when I was looking at direct drives. My little R5 is pretty great. Not sure I need anything crazy. Maybe I'll upgrade to an R9/R12 at some point, but there's no need for more.

Its the living room laptop and she uses it for her homework and to watch youtube. But we couldn't really do that because of the wonky HDMI and me being too lazy to find the fix. Just can't be arsed at the moment.
One day, I'll do it properly.
It was just what was recommended after I looked for all the things I was interested in.
Maybe I'll try again with something a little more open and less curated and dependent upon a small team. But I'll have to spend time with it to get used to it, and I never really use this laptop.
