Brazen revisionist lying here by Danielle Smith, blaming AHS for screwing up the procurement. She personally announced the purchase. At her behest, Jason Copping directly oversaw the contract and defended the high cost. This is from a March 20, 2025 Globe story by Carrie Tait and Alanna Smith.

There are two reasons that Danielle Smith is pushing the separatist movement: to distract from the fact that in February the UCP will announce a $10B deficit and to turn the attention away from her rural base that their healthcare system is collapsing.

Premier Smith;
I am very concerned about recent events in Alberta and would like you to address the following three questions:
1.
Now that the separatist forces in
Alberta have their petition to separate from Canada underway, what are you doing to communicate the realities of separation to the population? The Alberta they discussed at a recent gathering in Stony Plain laid bare the fact that they do not have a good
understanding of the what would transpire in a separation event. What can you tell Albertans about what happens with currency, debt levels, and the impact on First Nations?
2. This week it was widely reported that
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent supports the separatist movement in Alberta, stating "i think we should let them come down into the U.S." We also know from a Bluesky thread by Lily Polenchuk, who attended the recent Stony Plain meeting, that members of separatist groups in Alberta have been meeting with high-ranking U.S.
Republicans. What are you doing to ensure that any referendum efforts are not influenced by foreign interference?
3. Finally, Albertans are dying while waiting for care in Alberta Emergency Rooms, or while waiting for life-saving treatments. What non-organizational actions are you taking to reduce the death count?

A thing Canadians need to ponder:
While Poilievre is howling all over social media about the trade deal Carney struck with Xi, keep in mind that Poilievre has not so much as a fucking clue about what is going on, because he refuses to get security clearance.

How ββstrategic amnesiaβ led to Calgaryβs water pipe disasters | The Sprawl
A costly example of a common pattern.
Calgary's pipe problems are a prime example of "strategic amnesia" inside city hall. Knowledge was fragmented. Responsibility was murky. And the pressures of growth eclipsed all else. #yyccc
