Thank you for this very touching tribute to Sweet Pea. In my experience, it's not the dog who is bad. They're just doing their best after being thrust into a bad situation. Hugs, space, and time goes a long way. I'm so glad that Sweet Pea found a space where she could bloom.

There is light brown ( which I usually use) and dark brown (which my husband just bought by mistake.)

Was it real wet and grainy?
Lately a lot of the brown sugar I purchased has a wet, grainy feel.
I'm used to soft brown sugar.
I don't know what's going on.
