A good day to read Étienne de La Boétie’s On Voluntary Servitude and reflect on those who prop up tyrants. I’m enjoying this wonderful 1963 edition by historian and communist party member François Hincker, a subject in itself!

It’s beyond sanity that’s for sure. And no doubt coming for us all like an asteroid of silliness
