Finally spoke with someone at the oncologist's office. Have an appointment for Thurs. Luckily I've seen a geneticist already and had a major surgery 6 mnths ago, so it saves precious days of tests and stuff. They're aware of my fear of losing my ins. any day now, sadly.

Those that don't/can't will be well cared for! It's awesome! And, I agree! A cat is a far better gift than just about anything I can think of! (as long as the recipient WANTS and can care for one, that is!)
And yes, I'm disabled. Hit by a drunk driver, who was being chased by cops. Lucky me..... dude had no insurance, cops take no responsibility. I couldn't walk for 2 yrs. etc..etc... lucky to be living in Oregon. OR is being proactive on housing and medical. Hope it's enough.
Ah, I hear ya! I'm living in terror myself now. I'm on SSI, under 65 and just got diagnosed with breast cancer last Thurs. I'm sure you can see why I'm afraid. I don't know if I'll have an income, housing OR insurance between now and tomorrow. This is insanity!

They've always been chasing people. I'm disabled because the cops were chasing someone, and I got caught in the crossfire. Hit from behind at 70mph. Couldn't walk for 2 yrs. Yeah, I dealt with it. Cops took 0 responsibility. I'm still dealing with it...
