Does Toronto support the people who are inside Iran, now?!
No matter how much of their blood the devil drank, he only grew thirstier for it, and the people of this house grew only more resilient.
This story continues...
The father had taught them that if the ultimate price of this sacred resistance was death, such a martyrdom would be infinitely more glorious, honourable, and holy than a life dragged out in disgrace under a tyrant's heel. This belief had made them valiant and courageous.
The father had told his daughters and sons the story of the Battle of Karbala, how Hussein, the grandson of Muhammad, and all his family members were killed because they refused to remain silent in the face of oppression, endorse the cruelty of a tyrant, or submit to the arrogant.
Yet, the devil was incapable of comprehending the lessons the father had imparted to his children.
He killed the father of the family and, with boundless cruelty, slaughtered a great number of the household, from the fetus in its mother's womb to the newborn baby, from the young child to the elderly. He drank their blood and danced a vile dance upon their corpses and their spilled blood.
Exasperated by the resistance of this family and its members, the devil felt that only drinking the blood of the children of this house could quench his fury.
The family endured tremendous hardships and difficulties, and once again, another group of its members succumbed to the devil's threats and seductions, turning against their own household.
Through these lies, the devil deceived the other families, managed to convince them that this household was their enemy, urging them to sever all ties with this house and its people to stay safe.
"The people of this family are after your wealth and your lives. You must eliminate this threat to remain safe and at peace. The father of this family is a cruel tyrant who has no mercy, not even for his own children."
Seeing their unity and love, the devil grew angrier by the day. He decided to portray the members of this family as the greatest threat to other families, whispering to them:
Some of the sisters and brothers fell victim to the devil's temptations and threats; they separated from the family and came to view their own kin as enemies.
For a long time, the devil tried to sow enmity and division among the brothers and sisters of this family, aiming to shatter their household, plunder their wealth, and destroy their love and affection.
The father of the family, however, had taught them the lessons of freedom and liberty. He had taught them that to live a prosperous life without humiliation, one must never submit to the oppression of a tyrant.
The devil, witnessing their love and affection for one another, was furious, and he was deeply angered that they did not fear him and refused to obey him. The devil coveted their home and their wealth, desiring to seize it all for himself.
Safe within the embrace of the mother figure's arms (i.e. the land of Iran) is a group of diverse individuals. They are drawn in varying styles to represent the rich tapestry of ethnicities, cultures, and beliefs within the country.
The Living Epic
Once upon a time, there was a family whose members spoke different languages, Kurdish, Turkish, Arabic, and Farsi. Each member of this family had chosen their own faith. Some were Jewish, some Christian, and some Muslim, and they lived together in love, peace, and unity.
