Americans are not big fans of Trump tariffs.

58% oppose

Most believe while the wealthy and large corporations will benefit, most also believe they will NOT benefit personally nor will the working and class.

Not a strong populist issue.

BGSU Poll The BGSUΒ Poll conducts regular statewide polling in Ohio to better understand citizen views on a variety of issues and political preferences. A team of scholars

National BGSU/Yougov poll shows Trump struggling on economy, tariffs, & ICE.

President Obama scores +25 points higher than Trump on net favorables.

Obama: (+6)
Vance: (-18)
Trump: (-19)

Trump’s low favorability remarkably consistent in latest polls around the SOTU.

I was absolutely flabbergasted 3 decades later when that same Jesse Jackson shared an article I wrote on his social media page. Never in a million years did this first gen kid think someone like him would read anything I’d ever write, let alone share it with othersβ€”a true honor I will never forget.

The 1984 election was the first time I really paid attention to a presidential campaign. I remember the 1980 election & flashes of Carter’s presidency, but the β€˜84 election was the first time I was truly invested. I was 12 years old & Jesse Jackson’s campaign felt like a pretty big deal…and it was.

If you are a Republican leader and can’t condemn this, then there really is no bottom. This should be easy.

Our findings show ICE reckoning coming. Republicans may pay this election | Opinion There is clear skepticism over the Trump administration’s tactics relating to ICE β€” even in reddish states such as Ohio.

Published this piece today making that same argument. In our poll of Ohioans (+10 Trump sample) we found a majority opposed to ICE & its tacticsβ€”with especially high numbers among Independents, non-whites, & young people. Also lots of concern about civil liberties.

Data from our Fall poll of Ohioans suggests a lot of unease with ICE tactics among Independents, those w/a college degree, younger voters, & non-whites. This was long before events in Minneapolis. I wrote about this in more detail for the Columbus Dispatch.

Now would be a good time for Republican leaders who care about our country to step up and condemn this nonsense.

I’m so tired of the radicalization of Americans by Americans against Americansβ€”especially by Representatives of the United States of America.
