We found a new catenation mode of Pd4L8 interpenetrated double cages: instead of a classic D4-symmetric dimer, the staggered structure has C2h symmetry, stabilized by non-covalent interactions. Just out in @angew_chem Support: RESOLV @SolvationSci @desy

First post on Bluesky to share our #justaccepted work in Angewandte Chemie. A great collaboration between @cleverlab.bsky.social , Prof. Gunnlaugsson and Prof. Stein. We show an in depth experimental and theoritical analysis of chiral induction on pristine C60 and C70.
