They are juicing earnings by quietly stretching the useful life of servers & GPU rigs that are really on a 2–3 year technology cycle. Extend the life in the accounting model, & you cut the depreciation expense. Cut depreciation, & EPS looks 20–30% higher than it would under a stricter assumption.

Nope. The faulty valuation of the methodology and the resources surrounding this industry will take awhile to be realized, and then to have an effect.

He's just not willing to take his investors on the same long stomach-churning journey that they endured during the 2008 housing market implosion. He was right before, and his position on AI will be proven to be correct.
