Hot off the press, the lab's latest work on high aspect ratio microgels for granular hydrogel formation and cell delivery is just published in ACS Biomaterials Science and Engineering (pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/...). Work co-led by undergraduate student Dean Stornello and postdoc Jun Kim.

I'm honored to receive the R35 MIRA award from the NIH. Grateful to NIGMS and the reviewers for their enthusiasm about our ideas and supporting a new PI/lab. This $1.9 million award will enable us to design biomaterial platforms to study cell-matrix interactions in the context of wound healing!
