We spent a lot of time iterating on how creatures move through space, not just how theyโre rendered.
Some of the later threats in Sub-Species are fully mechanical rather than organic.
We spent a lot of time making sure their silhouettes and movement read clearly in combat-heavy spaces.

A surprising amount of Sub-Species came together once we stopped trying to make every moment loud.
By the later areas of Sub-Species, the ocean feels less like a place โ and more like something thatโs been taken over.
