Happily married Scottish cat-slave, mum to two wonderful people, vehemently anti-Brexit & heartily sick of corruption in politics & the greed in all sectors. City girl all my life but now love the Somerset countryside. More good books please.

Just said the same about the village litter pick, but I guess it is because Feb is a short month.

Cutting off his nose to spite his face! Why so many people so ready to be angry?

How I miss this man in the White House. Whatever your religion, this speech is inspiring - you will be glad to have listened.

Pretty funny that Michael Gove is dunking on me now he’s editor of the Spectator to promote its β€˜bias-free’ reporting when as a politician he wouldn’t answer any of my press inquiries on the massive Brexit fraud he oversaw as Vote Leave’s co-convener

At least it is outside and will be exciting! Know what you mean about the furries. Luna was traumatised by the stone cutting when we had some landscaping done.

Wow Hugh himself, I’m a big fan. If only we still lived in London!

Exactly. And yet, if the man had smiled, apologised and moved his car, imagine how different the scenario would have been for all parties.

Instead of graciously apologising for being in the wrong & moving his car, he poured his embarrassment & anger into attacking you, because he blames you for him feeling that way. Classic. What an inadequate. So sorry you had this unpleasant encounter.

Wrens are really tiny and quite round, they are so funny on trees as they almost seem mouse-like, somehow πŸ₯°

Not good at all! So sorry. Are the rest of the family ok? Could it be Covid, caught on the plane? Timing is about right.

This is a life and death story for the UK – so why is it being brushed under the carpet? | Aditya Chakrabortty The news that healthy life expectancy is in decline in Britain exposes a serious truth about the state we’re in, says Guardian columnist Aditya Chakrabortty

There must be many reasons this isn’t β€œfront page” news.

The biggest is that our leaders have consistently failed the population

Would have been fab to meet up, mind you, we are at the Lib Dem conference which is always full-on and spending time with daughter1 so won’t be kicking around looking for things to do!

Morning Cats, orcs, Friday has dawned very grey & rain is likely. Quite cold but makes it easier for clothes for trip to Salisbury. Hope trains don’t play up!

Thursday was so busy, didn’t get home for lunch until after 2pm, starving. Closed roads & traffic queues didn’t help. Have a fab day all!

Aargh - I think ours were a sort of gaberdine material. When girls start getting self-conscious and often put on weight at puberty, they don’t want to have bare legs in school or on the playing field.

Just so sad. I loved sport & gym etc & our teachers weren’t too bad. But it was wrong that we had to wear gym pants indoors & shorts for netball & on the hockey field (in Scotland in winter too!). Girls should be allowed to wear joggers. I hear so many women say it put them off sport for life.

Sun headline about Β£500k compensation for migrants, discussing human rights, and public outcry over payouts.

Did you see this headline?

Did you feel the requisite anger and rage at asylum seekers that The Sun was asking of you?

Did you maybe blame Starmer because.... um... it was probably his faultπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Would you like to know the reality behind the headline?

Course you would!😜

Let's take a look
