I think this depends a lot on how secure you are in your own style, how much you believe you are capable to incorporate the ai's ideas in tune with your own expression instead of the ai derailing your style into its.
If you discuss your story ideas with Claude, at what point you are still "allowed" to feel like they are yours? I mean, where does it go beyond "I talked about them with a friend and they had some cool ideas" towards "an ai is writing them"?

Not that I'm very capable of actually feeling like this but I imagine it might be helpful for maintaining inner sense of dignity.
Sometimes when I feel like there is no possible way to reach out to people, I try to imagine them as just the environment, like a hostile desert storm that doesn't hate, that doesn't hurt you out of its own agency.
