I have time released morphine here, but I don’t like to take it cause all I want to do then is sleep. Mine was for pain, but it’s used a lot for in stage lung, cancer, and other lung issues to reduce the choking and and feeling a suffocation.

Palliative care is to relieve pain and provides social work if needed. hospice is end of life care. it’s scared to making the person transition in the most dignified way possible and they provide services like hospital beds doctors that come to the home

They are over worked and short staffed. They are union members and I support the union! I hate crossing the lines but I had to to get my in home nursing renewed.

I have lost 80 pounds since this time last year because of the cancer. Good thing I was fat. 320 pounds and now 240lbs. I weighed this much when I did sprint triathlons in 2009.
BTW I finally was told that I’m terminal. Doctors hate using that word

I’m okay. Just hassling with getting my pain meds which I think is finally getting straightened out! My health provider is on strike so I’ve had appointments cancelled and long lines at the pharmacy. I’m weighing my options. The question is is it better to just stay on Palliative Care or do hospice

Ever since I stopped my cancer treatments I feel much better and I’m at peace with my decision.
I want quality of life versus quantity.
I just ask to be kept out of pain which my palliative in doing a great job of.
