Actually, the Coriolis effect as it pertains to toilets is a fallacy. Truth is, we denizens of the Southern Hemisphere haven't yet adopted the technological advances you folks in the North have. We don't even have flushing toilets! Just a hole in the ground.

Not to mention that geographically we're pretty close to the fabled land of Rand McNally, where they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people!
The creative project I'm currently developing has a main character who is Australian tho, so who knows, maybe with that I can help bridge the cultural divide (or muddy the waters even further)!

I think American culture and humour has a pretty wide reach, generally speaking. I grew up on a lot of American (and British) media. I doubt many Americans are exposed to much in the way of New Zealand culture.

A mighty album. Seasons in the Abyss is my favourite Slayer album (it wins out over this one due to its more varied approach to riffs and tempo), but in terms of pure unadulterated thrash aggression, of all-out unrelenting sonic assault, Reign in Blood just can't be beat.
I think sheep on some level recognise llamas as being congruent creatures but I reckon they can tell that the llamas are not sheep. I mean, sheep can tell other sheep apart on a level I just... can't... so I figure there are multiple factors at play here in the mysterious realm of ovine recognition.

Guy on the radio talking about how there will be a number of job positions available in Antarctica next summer, but he's repeatedly pronouncing it "ant-art-ika", so you just know he'll be leading people to their doom.
The majority of Earth Tongue's music videos are full of classic B-movie / folk horror / giallo inspired imagery (imagery that I am an absolute sucker for). But I must admit my favourite video of theirs is the one where they're just hooning around in an old Mitsubishi Triton.
