I was incredibly guilty of this and boy howdy did it age very, very poorly.
Got a two-fer in the mail today, but Iβm diving headlong into Anna Tivelβs Outsiders. Heartfelt mournful beauty in 12β vinyl form. Thanks to @Johnshepski at Fluff & Gravy for putting the album on my radar and getting it to me so dang quick. That dude rocks. #bandcampfriday

Oh wow! This looks incredible!
The meme with a guy and two girls. The guy is labeled 1:59 AM. His girlfriend islabeled 2 AM. The cute girl coming the other way is labeled 3AM.
The US and Canada go to Daylight Savings Time tomorrow morning.
Outsiders by Anna Tivel. Dark, sometimes somber indie rock? Count me in. (3/?) annativel.bandcamp.com/album/outsid...
A Dream Is All We Know by the Lemon Twigs. Fun, poppy, and with a dash of power pop, A Dream Is All We Know definitely has elements of Matthew Sweet's early work and that's all I need to get my ears perked up. (2/?) thelemontwigs.bandcamp.com/album/a-drea...
So itβs Bandcamp Friday again, which means your dollar is gonna go farther to support an album you want, a song you like, or a band you love. In no particular order, here's what I'm picking up this go around. (1/?)
And then of course I drown in all the stuff I want to pick up versus a very finite budget while forgetting everything that was in my almost picked group from last time.
Bandcamp Friday always seems to hit me like Valentineβs Day does to sitcom dudes. βWhat? How did this day which is announced well in advance surprise me again?β
Those shelves are NICE!
Devastated to realize that this is still incredibly funny
In other news, tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday. Be sure to plan accordingly. isitbandcampfriday.com
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair does fix some of the pacing issues of the individual releases, but man there's definitely some stuff that needed to hit the cutting room floor in that movie.
Early contender for Mugshots of the Year: featuring Chadillac Saurus Rexx and his wife Manda Saurus
Twelve years ago today me timed this pretty well.
Sounds like *somebody* wants to hear Mississippi Queen.

If itβs period correct me it would be the No Alternative compilation or the Singles soundtrack, two tapes I could never quite afford.
Cool. Now get them to do Trump.
Digital illustration based on a photo of Eleanor and Karla GutΓΆhrlein who danced and performed as The Sisters G in the early 20th century. They are on either side of the frame doing a symmetrical sort of presentational jazz hands move toward the center. They are wearing the same outfit of a teal green hat and jacket with dark piping and buttons, only the briefest of briefs below to display maximum leg, and matching heels. Between them is some bold, glittery green art deco type surrounded by curly filigree in front of a dark background lit up with light rays and sparkles. The toe reads βMaybe it will happen todayβ.
screenshot of an old tweet from βlivβ @/ayohangela we see a scene from the film Harold and Maude, 1971, where Maude (Ruth Gordon) is driving a car and Harold (Bud Cort) is in the passenger seat. both are smiling, turning to look and someone off camera. the OP has captioned this: harold: I've lost the will to live πβ°οΈπͺ¦ maude: I've lost the will to live β¨ππ

I was all set to excitedly mention Marvel 1943, but then I saw Skydance was the studio behind it, damn it.
Yeah, the only way I made Eagle was because I didnβt do football and I didnβt do band. Our troop was pretty good at getting kids across the finish line to Eagle, but football and band were always the big challenges.
My only year attending was 89, so Iβm definitely glad to hear they removed some of the reliance on the military.
Part of the cooperation as I recall has to do with the Jamboree. While itβs been many, many years since I went the event is held on Army bases to take advantage of the infrastructure, traffic control, medical support, etc. I hate this for the kids because I truly believe Scouting is for everyone.
It is fucking wild to me that people in my generation who had to have watched War Games and Terminator and the same shit I did came away thinking "What we need to do is definitely make all this horrible, anti-human, tech".
I had pour over coffee for the first time at home and Iβm now angry that Iβll never have the bandwidth to do this every morning.
As someone who doesnβt live in the public eye, Iβm forever grateful that I donβt have to simultaneously age and yet not age as part of my job.
