Can I draw followers' attention to the Not In Our Name campaign for those cis women who don't see the trans+ community as a threat? notinourname.org.uk
When we moved into our new build we bent the rules to have her here, not thinking she'd last long. Six years later she was still laying in summer!
Sorry, it's been a rough week and I'm minus on sleep. It's about a fortnight since our last surviving bird finally died. We've had a succession for about fifteen years I think?
More seriously, I know people who are fans but we've only had cats and chickens. Have just a fortnight so stopped keeping poultry, which makes me sad.
No, but I have recipes?
Instead of bringing back Firefly, how about a TV adaptation of 'The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet' instead.

We've just learned that the person at the MHRA whose letter caused Wes 'I follow the clinical evidence' Streeting to cancel the puberty blockers trial is Professor Jacob George, the GC who enjoyed mocking trans people on his social media account.
Why did Wes Streeting cover up his name?
They say binge drinking is out of fashion, but I just made myself a black filter coffee with a double espresso chaser.
As for the ad hom against people who disagree with you... polling repeatedly shows that those with selective educations are most likely to support grammars and those that didn't go to one the least. Same for income distribution.
And ironically all the trials would need to be run on... guinea pigs...
I'm get my coat.
such a clear example of (entirely predictable) harm to the whole population because of discrimination which doesn't even do what they say is needed.
No mention of course of the University not making an offer to those students in the first place. π§
What a pillock.
My eldest did college courses rather than A-levels (after being home educated when school wouldn't address the bigoted bullying), is graduating this summer without ever getting an assessment below a first.
Saw the "OMG why are 40 & 50 year old people even ON social media?" post & my first thought was, "What do you think *should* happen, kid? Should we all just do a Logan's Run?" & then I realized this child has never once in their life heard of Logan's Run & I turned to dust & my ghost is typing this.
I look forward to JKR offering to pay to support all the cis women who her bigotry has affected. (And for the counseling when some of them find they're intersex)
I guess according to her the husband can't be a Chinese spy because he wasn't born in China. That's her logic, right?
Presumably they figure that if they deny it's a war they can't be held responsible for war crimes.
Also great guests on Babylon 5.
You will never have seen such detailed footnotes
Sounds like a short story waiting to happen...
Has it occurred to you that these might be messages intended for your parallel self in another universe?
Added to a TBR list which is currently taller than I am!
Shame, although it probably wouldn't live up to Novik's _Temeraire_ series anyway
Haven't read it, but a whole load of his books are in one of the current Humble Bundles. Randomly saw them today and remembered the author's name.

The @ipso.co.uk ruling of Telegraphβs preposterous βWe earn Β£345k but soaring private school fees mean we canβt go on five holidaysβ, reveals the article to have been a fabrication. There is no such family as Al, Alexandra, Ali, Harry and Barry Moy. Glad to have acted as lead complainant on this.
