Final Fantasy understandably gets praise for characters, story, music, visuals, combat, etc (well, usually)
But I think something that people don't appreciate enough is just how funny the games are

Resident Evil Requiem fuckin rules so far
Already dumped 6 hours into it before needing to head to bed for work in the morning
If only. Would've made the otherwise drab building at least somewhat interesting.
I have no idea why FROM said not to the Bloodborne pitch, but I will say Bloodborne is a game very defined by its details and imagery, and Bluepoint as a remake studio is not particularly constrained by those intentions.
If those were my intentions to begin with, I'd feel some ways about it.

These games' stories are b-movie schlock (positive) and by the end you're a walking arsenal where the enemies are trapped with you rather than the other way around.
Shit rules.
I'd honestly recommend Resident Evil games to even people who aren't into horror games.
They occasionally have their moments, but I'd consider RE to be more "horror-themed" than "scary".

The EVO situation is dire.
It's why the shard hunt wasn't all too bad this run since I was already filling out the map anyways.
Something that I noticed this run is that if you know what you're doing, you can get a headstart on the triforce shard hunt as soon as you nab Nayru's Pearl.
You can't get everything till you get the Hookshot, but almost all of it can be done well before then.
Finished Wind Waker for the first time since I was a kid and yeah that shit rules outside of a couple rough spots (Triforce shard hunt, some islands exist just to fill up space, time to change wind direction, etc)
Just need 3 pics with the pictograph and a 3-heart run to 100% it.
