1960s Australian magazine article titled "Doctor In Space" about the "Doctor Who" story "The Web Planet". The brief text is illustrated with three photographs, two showing ant and butterfly-styled alien creatures, and a third showing a smartly dressed 47 year-old man, the Australian writer of the serial, Bill Strutton.
Taken from this Australian magazine article promoting The Web Planet (sorry, this is the best scan of the article I have!)
Have you found out how to attach runes to your gear (sword, etc), yet???
Tomorrow being Wednesday, in this case!
Popular enough to inspire a bit of Cockney rhyming slang!

Great use of negative space for the candles!
I’d love to read more of Frank’s work in new physical media releases, he knows his old telly and films!
FWIW, Digiguide has it listed as an HD programme.
In similar vein, a definitive restoration of Black Narcissus would be very welcome.
Hey! I made this super specific starter pack for the art and film fan crossover crowd go.bsky.app/NvGPdbg
Superb piece of work, Lee! The composition and general texture reminds me of the great Phil Bevan.
Wasn't this one of the books that they were planning to release in hardback, too?
It was probably planned as a single part, but Doddy locked the doors and wouldn't let anyone out until he'd done a few hours.
That is, indeed, how they get you.
I've not heard of a two-part TIYL before. Were there many others?
A fascinating look at how news of President John F. Kennedy's assassination broke in the UK...
It must be difficult getting your noggin around Artificial Intelligence, when you haven't even mastered Ogron Intelligence.
There's also an arrangement - apparently for The Money Programme - by Roger Bolton (but not THAT Roger Bolton, confusingly), on this album... not sure where it fits in (if at all)...

They were all fired.
Close up of the creature's white, mottled patchwork hand.
Close-up of a sailor's belt buckle, decorated with an anchor.
Close-up of a prosthetic ankle and foot, constructed of leather and metal.
Two black bags, elaborately embroidered with gold Christian crosses, with black ribbon straps attached.
The Devil's in the details...
I visited the exhibition of props and costumes from @realgdt.bsky.social's Frankenstein today, and was very impressed!
It runs at Selfridges in Oxford Street until November the 9th, and admission is free!

MUST READ! In the latest CST blog about the damaging changes going on at the BBC Written Archives Centre, @marklewisohn.bsky.social delivers his cri de cœur squarely at those who came up with or are signing-off on this policy shift. Please read and share widely.

I recognise the location for the sequence with the pretty girl: it's the 19th century village pump at Ickenham (near Ruislip). The garage might be the one that's nearby.
I wonder if Cleese ever appeared as Basil in the Video Arts training films.
Has anyone catalogued those films? I've only seen a couple, but they seem to have featured some notable performers. If nothing else it's probably professional work that doesn't seem to have been documented adequately.
