TBH, the more I use it, the more I dislike AgX. Anything vaguely saturated becomes a grey mess at the slightest touch of light... Worst offender is Blackbody thermal gradients, IMO.
Thus far, the best replacement I've found is JP2499DRT by Juan Pablo Zambrano...

Honestly, cursory glance tells me you seem to have the basics down pretty well, from there it kinda depends what you want to do with these models, and how far you wanna push them... Would be glad to help if you ever want a hand for anything Blender-related !

Memories of a little girl during the fascist occupation of France (1939-1941) | The Spaceshipper Get more from The Spaceshipper on Patreon

Since fascism is in the air in France, I would like to highlight my grandmother's memoirs about life under fascism. πŸ––

Objectively speaking, the description of another era is fascinating in itself. But above all, she sounded a warning to all of us.

That said, while the ESP-51 nears its limit for translunar trips, so does its spiritual airliner equivalent, the Airbus A320, for transatlantic trips, and the A320 still does it a lot, it's just not necessarily its primary use...

Fair enough, my longest such trip was a 10h flight and I was so incredibly miserable at the end of it that it kind of vaccinated me against sardine-maxxing.
We already have people on the floor *and* ceiling thanks to the wonders of microgravity, that's probably enough cramming...

Travel from LEO to upper orbits is generally done through cyclers or dedicated longer duration ships. There is a cabin layout for the ESP-51 that allows LEO-LLO in relative comfort, but it drops the passenger count from ~80 to ~30, which is a significant hit to profitability, so not very common.

28.01.2026 06:10 πŸ‘ 3 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

LEO to LLO/EML1 is generally at the very limit for trips it can reasonably undertake. Main issue is that both the hab layouts aren't *that* large, and half a week stuck in a chair isn't very appealing, so they're mostly for station-station, station-cycler and station-surface travel within CLS.

Same thing when blender fails to find an image or library it had loaded, where was it previously (an information that would be useful to relink it) ? Who knows, Blender sure won't say...
Images you can kinda get in in the datablock, but Libraries are pain...

A Storybook representation of early Calphis settlement.

Top panel: Cargo pods are opened and emptied while Calphisians build homes and make use of parachute material.
Middle panel: Ranchers herd calfauna. One of the ranchers rides a gallimimus. In the background, a balloon ascends in the sky and windmills turn. There are now plants growing.
Bottom panel: Examples of industry. Multiple flying ships fill the sky. Railway is laid by laborers. A molopi, one of the largest examples of calfauna, carries cargo and a rider. Factories churn behind it all.

Top panel: A gigantic airship, representing the peak of calphisian engineering, is launched.
Middle panel: Hundreds of graves line the landscape. In the foreground, calphisians rush to the aid of someone who has fallen, perhaps stricken with tamorte. An abandoned home rots behind them. The Bellepaust is labeled in the sky. The sight of the Bellepaust is used to mark funerals.
Bottom panel: A line of soldiers fire into another, perhaps an ambush. Smoke and chaos fill the panel.

In the middle of the illustration is a woman dressed in wintery clothing, above her head is some text pointing to her that reads "Marsh, 40 years old, works at the surface observatory array". To the right of her is another drawing of her, this time smiling while holding a can of beer, saying "Let's share a beer and convert raw telescope data into pretty pictures."

To the right is a large column of text that unfortunately doesn't fit in the character limit for this. The column is titled "The Sun". At the top is an image of some stars against the dark background of space, at the bottom is a slightly fuzzy illustration of a space probe against the background of stars.

To the left is another large column of text titled "The Earth", at the bottom is a speech bubble coming from the girl mentioned earlier.

In the background is a drawing of the Earth, completely frozen over and airless. The vague outline of landmasses is visible in the shapes of the ice.

That way they can do as much exposition as they want, the 300+ episodes aren't required viewing, and they can have a lot of fun with the consequences of Disclosure, with how the world at large reacts, with how Earth integrates into the wider Galaxy, and so on and so forth.
