Rereading Hermann Hesse's The Journey to the East for maybe the fifth or sixth time. One of my favorite Hesse books. A precursor to his brilliant-if-intimidating The Glass Bead Game (Magister Ludi), which I've read only once but beckons for a reread. #HermannHesse #booksky
