Today’s #powerwalk took us up and back about 3 miles on Jupiter Beach in fantastic Florida. Our friend Adam Garr and I are down here shooting video and not being snowed on.
Amazing community. Mrs Jones lived there for years. Many of those fancy bent lawns are near SHCC. I #powerwalk the back 9 a lot.
Nobody seems to really know other than it became a local status symbol to have a golfy lawn. These are relatively small yards yet they spend a lot to maintain them.
Hey BlueSky did you know there’s a suburb of Cleveland that has 200+ bentgrass lawns? They are mostly seeded Penncross, maintained about .75” and cared for by 3-4 LCOs who specialize in managing bent for homeowners. As far as I can tell, Shaker Heights is the bent lawn capital of the world.

Starting fresh in Bluesky is an interesting exercise. As I consider which topics I want to follow here I am forced to admit I am way too interested in the “Real Housewives” franchise. I could blame Mrs Jones for addicting me but, as Buffett said, it’s my own damn fault.
