So, I guess she's kind of like The Hulk, not too bright, used to just randomly smash things, but now can at least be pointed in the right direction to smash what really needs to be smashed. Go, Marg... Marg Smash!

This sort of happened to me, only it was a large aluminum house painter's ladder, and I was in a '92 Civic. I was barely able to dodge it, and it embedded in the grill of a Semi that was tailgating me.

I've been going to Trek cons since the mid 80's. It may be a few years since I've been to one, but out of the many I went to, I don't recall anyone getting bent over the "colorful" fanfics featuring Kirk and Spock that literally could have wallpapered the dealer room. And there were real fans there.
