Forgot to mention the ball python patterning is based off a genetic morph called a spider morph though this morph does cause congenital problems so I don’t condone breeding them!

The first sketch on the left presents my character’s face and body as stiff and disproportionate. After taking a break and looking at references, the sketch on the right has an improved face (more to my liking) along with a more dynamic pose with better proportions. Neither are perfect but show that practice helps to improve one’s art to their liking.

The Pokémon Dragonair (shiny form) wrapped around a tree branch. The tree has pink blossoms and some slight texture on the bark. A previous artwork’s colours are bleeding through mostly on the left.
When the page bleeds through, experiment! I get so frustrated when my work isn’t ‘perfect’ to the point where I won’t try. This experiment with acrylic markers was challenging due to the limited palette and lack of control yet I had fun! #art #pokemon #experiment #acrylicmarkers

Finished sculpture of my character Kitts from the front. There are green pieces of fur sculpted with Kneadatite (the green stuff) to ensure they won’t crumble. Her eyes are sketched in lightly with pencil.
