You can’t always fix things for your elderly loved one; fear and general decline can’t always be cured with a pill. While we felt hopelessness, Mum made it clear that she was grateful that we were there.

Fun fact. You can't win an Australian federal election when you only have four women MPs. The current projection is that women will win at least 63 of the 150 federal seats, 46 Labor, 4 Liberals, 3 Nationals and 7 independents.
Shocking behaviour! I would hope such a person not be allowed near any female patients.
Do we, in Australia, have an unnecessary obsession with home ownership? Should we not focus more on rental protections, similar to those in Europe, that make long-term, stable renting easier for those who can not afford a house of their own?
Too right!! Small businesses employ more Australian workers and so should be getting the tax breaks, not the multinationals.
Prime Minister and Minister Wells, the lack of “sexy votes” in aged care issues does not absolve you of your responsibility to uphold the basic human rights of our elderly citizens. They deserve dignity, respect, and care—not neglect.

My heart aches for the vulnerable and elderly who suffer at the hands of the greedy and unscrupulous, seemingly with the Government’s tacit approval.
Agree, but the only problem is it showing up my own kelpie's training!! I still have some work to do.
