Miles Davis’ Touring band in the early nineties were tight as hell
If you’re a fan of Stevie Wonder, I highly recommend Syreeta’s 1972 Debut album, produced by the man himself
Perfect after work listening for a Friday Night. 1982 Boogie Funk Classic
Frankie Kelly ‘Ain’t That The Truth’. Remember discovering this retro sounding gem on a Street Sounds comp back in 1985. Only made one single as far as I can tell. Strong Marvin vibes

Afternoon listening. A rare and wonderful Philly soul album, the only one recorded by The Ambassadors. Famously sampled by Pete Rock and Jay Electronica
Thanks! 🙏
I’ll just be happy if we try to score a goal 😂

Little Known Uruguayan Jazz Fusion outfit, Opa made two great albums in the late seventies. This track Montevideo came out in the same year as Earth, Wind and Fire’s Runnin’ and you can definitely hear the similarities

Atlantic Starr were originally called Newban. Their super rare 1977 LPs were reissued on BBE. Really nice mix of funk, jazz and soul before they went for a more commercial sound
