Also shit dude, have a vendor survey they can fill out at the end of the event. What they liked, hated, and what their average sales were, would they vend at the event again? Let it be anonymous! This info is SO important! Data will let you know if you need to charge more or less, etc!
If the event isn't marketing, no strong social media or boots on the ground...avoid it. It's really lazy of events to rely on vendors to market your event. I can only handle the immediate upcoming ones most of the time. A calendar post, but I'm not a free marketing team. We can only do so much.
Events over $150 for one day need to have at least ~2500+ attendees. Not average, lowest number.
More attendees and higher average sales the more you can charge. But the more you charge above those metrics, provide more. Power, food, parking, etc.

Craft Shows are a waste of time, and a niche is way more important. I only sell at events I'd go to for fun. Means the people who you vibe with will be there, and you're way more likely to sell.
I don't have time to click 3 links or search for your event location, it also means people interested in local events don't immediately know it's local. Make it simple and obvious!
Also don't use AI art! Artists won't apply for AI advertised shows! I've watched 2 shows crash and burn because of it!
