Verena Nobel explores global dialogue at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai How do nations perform their identity on the global stage? This question lies at the heart of my current research in Japan, where I explore how Germany crafts and communicates its national identity at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai through architecture, storytelling, and immersive experience. World Expos are more than just showcases of innovation. They are...

At #Expo2025 Osaka Kansai β€” a crossroads of national identity, international collaboration and shared futures β€” student Verena Nobel is inspired by the many opportunities to spark global dialogue and build new connections. #MyExpo2025

A 2023 edited volume that deals with a critical introduction to the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. Ed Chad Diehl writes that this volume engages w the shadow of a traumatic past.
There is much to dip into in this book and it will encourage new discussion. It includes my own bio on Ozaki Tomei. πŸ—ƒοΈ#γƒŠγ‚¬γ‚΅γ‚

I’ve been in a very not so good headspace since a person very close to me got hospitalized. Today, we finally received a treatment plan, and although things will take their time, it feels like there's finally a small light at the end of the tunnel.

What strikes me about the hbomberguy vid (besides the fact that he dresses like the survivor of a nuclear apocalypse, what’s up with that) is how easy it is to rip off academics. A lot of these people have spent decades writing in obscurity and created a goldmine of analyses anyone can rip off

Well, I certainly didn't anticipate the year ending with Somertons plagiarism finally out and about but here we are. On a more serious note, it's really disheartening to see talented authors and researchers caught up in this mess…

First and second at the top most definitely. Needed to see more of the building to evaluate the third at the bottom left. Fourth could be a case of brick brutalism but honestly in this case module structure is more important than material for a proper categorization so I could be wrong 🀷🏻
