Bright orange graphic with bold, cut-out style lettering. At the top it reads βMayor of Londonβ and βGreat Newsβ. Large white and purple text states β100 million free school meals served so farβ¦β. The words βfree school mealsβ appear in a child-like handwritten font.
Two years ago, I introduced a pioneering policy to provide free school meals for all of Londonβs state primary school children.
Today weβre celebrating 100 million free school meals provided since September 2023.
Graphic with an image of a woman in a pink and blue swimsuit jumping into water, with illustrated swimmers cheering around her. Text reads: βMayor of London. Great news. London joins the Swimmable Cities Alliance.β
Thanks to our bold policies, weβve made great progress in cleaning up Londonβs air. Iβm committed to doing the same with our rivers.
Our Clean and Healthy Waterways Plan will set out our priorities to reduce pollution, restore biodiversity and improve access to rivers over the next 10 years.

So my mom has just⦠not had many good days the past few years. Her depression has made it tough to see how beautiful & perfect she is. Part of why I moved in aside from caretaking for my dad was to help her rediscover herself.
So we did a kimono shoot for her bday. Look at her radiant smile yβall.
Unsolicited writing advice, no. 176:
Don't underestimate your reader. Give them space to imagine; to dream. You don't need to tell them everything; just the things they need to know.
Yesterday we visited Green Mountain Falls, CO to visit the kinetic sculpture Off the Beaten Path by Patrick Shearn. I wasnβt ready for just how dynamic it was even in the slightest breeze. Reminds me of a murmuration of starlings. Incredible artwork. Itβll only be up through October 19th.
It's pub day in Canada for Oxford Soju Club. It all began in 2018 as an absurdly cliched action novel that also became my self-therapy. After 5 rewrites, edits, and a TikTok DM from my now-editor, itβs here.
Nervous, excited, ready to share my heart. I hope you enjoy meeting Jihoon, Yunah & Yohan.
