It was great to catch up with one of my favourite nature restoration projects this week, as I met the @breedingwaderseip.bsky.social team at an #IrishRuralLink information day. Had a good chat too with IRL's SΓ©amus Boland about keeping rural development at the forefront of my work in Seanad Γireann.
At Breeding Waders EIP, we believe that working together is key to achieving our shared goals. We love connecting with stakeholders, gathering feedback, and
implementing ideas that benefit both the birds and the community. Recently, we held two community and knowledge exchange meetings in Donegal.
We were delighted to receive an update from the LIFE on Machair team. These beautiful images of Lapwing within the fenced area has truly made our week, so we had to share.
