In 2021 i lost a good deal of american friends. I was left with the same message asking for me to tell my family to stop eating bats... My hometown and people have no such history of doing so... it was as if they assumed all of us were the same....
As a child i looked up to americans, opined that they are great heroes and honest people. As i grew up i added many overseas friends. It was a pity americans didn't see us chinese as the same.
As a child i remembered watching a tv show, in the show china and us were fighting japan together and just as japan was about to defeat the communists and the nationalist army america flew over.
