I first thought this was β€œPersonal Mountains” by Garbarek/Jarrett.

Strauss originally wanted to call this work β€œDer Antichrist”.

Another classic exampe would be D7alt to Gm with the melody going F Eb to D, and people saying the F is "theoretically wrong", while at the same time claiming D7alt is "coming from Eb melodic minor". The contradiction isn't resolvable with one sweeping theory and no context.

For example, spelling C#7alt as C# F B E (rather than C# E# B Dπ„ͺ) is both convenient AND correct for a resolution to D minor. Jazz theory often mistakes the convenience of its chord symbols for theoretical "correctness", leading many to enharmonically bend over backwards when notating music.

If consciousness is woven into the very fabric of existence, how can a panpsychist argue that AI is devoid of it?

"Switzerland remains firmly committed to supporting a just and lasting peace, while condemning Russia's aggression against a sovereign state. #Ukraine" (Karin Keller-Sutter, President Swiss Confederation)

They do provide voluntary after school classes, called "me-time", but it's one teacher vs many children.

I'd like to help my 10-yr-old son with challenging school subjects. Our current Swiss public school system discourages this, because, as his teacher said, "not every child has parents who can help with school." For this reason, they eliminated homework entirely in our city.
This logic is bull, IMO.

People who write about music in the magazines and internet and/or play music on the wireless:

Do you prefer your promos to come as a) downloads, b) streams, or c) physicals?

And why?

Some interesting opinions on acoustic vs electronic, and technology vs. "spirituality" in this doc.

Interesting article. Bernstein once wrote, paraphrasing, that it was no coincidence the death of God and the death of tonality were postulated around the same time in history.

Bachβ€˜s workload was extreme, and he was a very practical musician, self-taught to a large degree.

That's what I wonder about most. Did you test it? If I understand correctly, Dan Worrall says in the introduction video that the harmonics added will change depending on the filters?

Sounds nice; tuning reminds me of Werckmeister Eb minor, with a lap steel.

Dufay [dyΒ fa(j)i] almost rhymes with Bluesky, but Bluesky doesn't like Dufay.

This should go without saying, but it's okay if someone you don't agree with goes on a certain show or podcast. It's okay to be exposed to dissenting opinions. It's okay to feel uncomfortable. The biggest danger for the Democratic Party moving forward is the imposition of ideological purity tests.

I see, but Dave Lombardo and Nicko McBrain are pretty old school and would disagree with your friends. Anyways, that drum set in 3 Body Problem was funny indeed.
