I've been playing Crown Gambit all day, and I've been enjoying it a ton. Some really interesting worldbuilding, beautiful visual style, and delightful mechanics.

The influenced response mechanic is one of my favorite mechanics I've seen in a minute.

I've been absolutely awful about posting here, but I've once again arrived in the fair city of Philly for PAX U. :3c

What a mood. I'm heading out this year again, but it's the first year I have a full-time job in a decidedly not TTRPG space, so don't have as much time for PAX-relevant things.

It's very interesting at any rate — and exciting from a production management and creative direction standpoint.

And, ngl, as someone who ultimately found C3 mid, this "giving a breather" is exaCtly the kind of thing I wanted to see after a debrief on what happened there.

I've swapped modern live service games for a browser game that's been running since 2009 I’ve found my new favourite book, only it’s interactive and I choose where it goes, if the constables will let me.

This is a beautiful article on Fallen London. The FL team put out some of the best writing in games *every single month*, and it’s wonderful to see that recognised.

I'm holding two regular American quarters. Below on a table in a transparent cup you can see the rest of my "tokens" which are also quarters.

I went to a barcade in London and bought 36 tokens for 20 pounds. These "tokens" turned out to be American quarters and I have never felt so owned. Essentially I gave them $27 and got $9 back
