Keep filling out their (BBC et al’s) complaints sections. I have been doing it for the very first time. Each time something is not fact checked or journalistic due diligence is done I am asking ‘where is it’? Each person’s drop in the ocean can create a sunami … and move that pendulum to centre.
Why don’t we hear it, because we allow it! Being intentional where we spend our hard earned money and who we elevate is how we quietly make our voices heard. Buy local with small independent business even if it means we have to search a bit harder or go to several places before we find what we want.
It needs all of us complaining each week about tabloid thin journalism to the BBC et al … Follow the rU💰💸iA money 🙄🙄… their slither of credibility is undermining what we expect, journalism in pursuit of facts wherever they may take us! Not turning the cheek 😢…
Keep sending in complaints directly to BBC, ITV et al. They don’t take long to do. Every voice every week adds up. If we are all constantly questioning their ‘tabloid-bias’ then we help to swing the pendulum to at least ‘normal’. Silence, apathy or ignoring helps to prove their stance.

“Spring Sunset” - this piece took two years to complete. It went through various metamorphosis … from wistful distance to dark heavy clouds (my brother had passed away suddenly 😢❤️🩹) … to a year later … a lightening and renewal of energy 🙏🏼💕

Expressionist seascape from the Atlantic French coastal island of Ile de Re. Long expanse of low tide rock pools and exposed ribbed sand is carved by the receding ocean. Cool blue and green gestural paint marks create enormous depth in the painting. The marks made by the paddle brush draw your eyes from the front of the painting to the horizon line in the distance. In between the tidal jagged low lying rock pools is cool ochre wet sand. In the far distance to you left you just start to make out a little bit of green coastal grass of the shoreline. Tonal values underpins this piece. The blue almost cloudless sky only takes up a slither of the top part from left to right of the painting. “Tidal Walk” is painted in acrylics on box canvas.
