I am talking about this because I want folks to know someone who has been directly affected by the textile/apparel tariffs. I have to decide whether to raise the price of my products, which always alienates a segment of my customers and the amount they are willing to pay for a handmade garment.

I went to buy a roll of fabric from my supplier. I was informed that not only had the price per yard increased, but that there was an additional tariff fee. Now the roll has been marked up 130% from its usual price, and I, the small biz owner, get to pay it. These tariffs were enacted by jerks.
