Half of our ‘lawns’ are moss - saves cutting the grass and they’re nearly always green 😹
@fahanfawn
Politics observer - cats (mainly ginger), flowers and gigs to offset the damage. All photos (bad or otherwise) are mine. Thank you to everyone who likes or reposts my posts - it is very much appreciated.

They are so cheerful - whatever the weather!
Paper, twigs/kindling and a lighter. (Sometimes a firelighter if the wood is wet!)
😹
Thank you. This is where all the self seeded primroses hang out and party!
Beautiful! Messy is best 😂
I’m just waiting for Florence to sneak down there and put a trap door in it 😹
Coincidentally he’s asleep! 😂
Tangled web of a climbing rose that needs pruning.
Climbing rose canes 3/4’s pruned.
Same - not much civilisation here! This morning, this rose and I have been trying to agree 😱. I think we have come to an understanding . 😂
Collage picture of the wilder bits of my garden including mossy tree trunks, primroses, primula, celandines and ferns.
Wild garden!

Thank you! 😻
💯😹
Ginger cat sitting in a window ledge.
Not sure she’s nice enough to negotiate with the mice. Here she is avoiding Hamilton 😹
No he’s useless. Florence has probably trained him as a scout without his knowledge. 😹

It was an important exercise before trying to stick his head down a hole. 🙄😹 (No mice found)
Lovely!
I’ll keep this method in mind. 😹
Flow has a “do I need to wake up for this?” expression. 😹
We have resorted to the take by surprise, stuff in him, slam the door and wear ear muffs technique. 😹

Have just planted lots of trees with bird food in mind - I hope our sparrows like them!
I added the viburnum in the hope of winter flowers!
Hopefully you’ll get cherries this year - I still need to interest the next generation in gardening 😂.
We have apple, pear and plum trees but I’m still envious of your nectarines 😂
I was curious so googled - is it referring to the Four Pests campaign and the effects on agriculture and ecology? Definitely a cautionary tale.
Love this colour, just bought a similar one. Going to give to my dad who grows them in his veg patch.
Mainly bare root trees to fill in hedge gaps. This year added Wild and Bird Cherry,Spindle, Elder, and Dog Rose. Aiming for blossom, berries or colour. Also a Japanese Maple, Rowan and some Viburnum to replace dead trees. Wish we were warm enough for nectarines, have one peach who wants to emigrate!
He’s useless at catching anything. Florence will send you a 50 point plan. 😹
That - or you’re in trouble! 😹
Only one? 😂
