Local govt is a mess and needs radical change with a national strategy, IMO the Greens are missing a trick. They’ve got the momentum and a membership with the appetite for change, so why more of the same?
Some will call it grandstanding, some call it sticking to your principles I guess.
What’s the point in standing in local elections if you’re going to impose cuts you’re meant to be ideologically opposed to?
