I hear you. I was crying for Cole to draw #4 first. Pretty unlucky in that regard. But we did avoid the Top 4 toughest teams.

it's not the worst outcome as it is, at least, winnable. #lufc
I adore Gabi Gudmundsson. I think any decent coach has to be working with him on his final entry into the box though - he could have 10+ assists this season, quite easily. Needs to breathe slightly when making the final decision. And this isn't hate - it's just how to go from v. good to great. #lufc
yeah, I live over Preston way and PNE fans were all too quick to tell me he is crap, and was crap for them etc etc. Players develop. Especially after they leave PNE ๐
totally agree mate. His goals are part of the value but some have been pens. The biggest value is his all-round game. And his work ethic. But yeah, he is positive in possession, and he can break lines with quick, incisive balls. Not many in our current squad do that.
Nmecha is underrated man. He lacks a little in the physicality aspect against top CBs; id like him to stay on his feet more. But he has pace & definitely has a football brain too - some very progressive passing in his game. Decent finisher too. I think he is the Okafor injury replacement ๐
I'm not worried. Cheers though Philippe ๐ #lufc
not quite full time yet, Graham ๐
No exaggeration to say Norwich have got two players that could have been sent out, and one of which could've been sent off twice himself. Is this ref watching the game? #lufc #ncfc
wouldn't be overly surprised if Gnonto is at RWB. But yeah, you're likely not far off here. #lufc
it probably needed the changes at half time. Nmecha & Gnonto began to create problems. But it was too late and we were chasing. #lufc
I felt like it would be 0-1 from about 30 minutes onwards mate. They just shut down the wide areas for our fullbacks receiving the ball, and we didn't break the lines through the middle at all. It meant they could defend the space in front of them & just watch us pass backwards. Poor. #lufc
As poor as #lufc have been at home this season. We restricted them (in fact they had one shot in the entire game and it was the penalty). That's the positive. But we also had zero clue how to break them down - very poor. No invention in central ideas. They shut down the wide areas for our fullbacks.
sadly, they were very well organised and we had zero answers for it. Very poor from #lufc tonight. Nobody taking any risks centrally - only really Gnonto injected any urgency
#lufv have controlled the game and totally restricted #safc. Problem is, we are creating absolutely nothing.
Sunderland set up very defensively & well organised - we keep trying to play wide to Gabe but it isn't working. Nobody taking responsibility in central areas to break a line with a pass.
who you dropping mate? Certainly not Ampadu or Stach. And I'd argue Gruev is in the best form he has maybe ever been in for us. Don't mess with an in-form team, is my thinking. #lufc
it's not a fantastic chip ๐ it's why I used it when healthy. Couldn't be arsed using my wildcard to set one up. Always backfires it seems.
I used BB week before last. Got 21 points. Mainly from Le Fee & Wilson. Almost got a Darlow clean but we conceded a consolation late Vs Forest.
id bench boost whilst you have a healthy bench ๐
I think they're good enough to have more than 29 points but they're not showing it, that's for sure. Tactically, it has been a shambles - spurs look wide open at the back.
I know his options are limited but playing Gray at LB. Playing with absolutely no width either at fullback or out wide further up. Two fairly static CFs. I'm baffled by what I've seen so far. Baffled. #fultot
many are old & don't read social media or even their emails. One guy near me usually needs a phone call from mates to be reminded when the game is mate ๐๐๐
I was sat next to multiple people who had zero clue what was happening or why. That's just a fact.
I should note that it takes a brave tolerant person to even explain that it's Ramadan to many of these people, especially at a match. They're a mob. They tend to be very cock-sure & appear confident - of course, they're not; they're masking deep-rooted self-esteem issues & trauma in most cases #lufc
similarly, I explained to a few in the East Upper that it was a very short break to allow fasting Muslims to break a long fast, and that was greeted with many eye rolls, sneers, laughs. It's also intolerant behaviour. It's everywhere. Lack of empathy & tolerance is an epidemic at this point, sadly.
if you're inside the ground and you genuinely have no clue what the break is for, can't see the screen, and know that Pep messed with tactical breaks at the Etihad, that is one thing.
If you're in the South Stand, next to the screen, read it, and boo - you're a vile racist.
now, I went to explain to a few that it was due to Ramadan. That did not go down well with many around me. They didn't boo, but they laughed, scorned, rolled their eyes etc. Sadly, modern society has created large swathes of unempathetic, intolerant, ignorant humans - it's a very sad situation #lufc
anyone booing because of it being Ramadan is a disgrace, very racist, and has no place at Elland Rd.
Having said that, you can't see the big screen from many areas inside the ground. In East Upper, most around me had no clue it was due to Ramadan. They booed based on previous Pep tactics. #lufc
they definitely gave off entitled vibes mate - very much so! If that's their way, then so be it. Proud of the #lufc commitment & attitude mate - now we play ten big games, and hope for a Cup run too ๐ช
#lufc were decent. It wasn't our best performance of the season, but it was a very, very combative & effective showing. The first half hour of the game was superb - we had to score there, obviously. Tired late in 1st half. But refound energy for a late push in 2nd half. Bigger game on Tuesday ๐๐
