Nah, Makar was trying to make a play and you want to see that in 3-on-3. It was a calculated gamble, didn’t work out, and that’s fine.
Boy is that ever a game to forget for Nathan MacKinnon. The missed empty net, the poor decision on that loose puck on the OT goal. Canada doesn’t get here without him, but man, tough, tough game
