Let's boycott Sportscheck! Getting really tired of corporations telling us consumers what they want, instead of what they want to sell. They are greedy, pay less tax, yet get the same benefits as private citizens, such as police, fire, and water. They seldom give to charity unless it is a photo op.

If Russia had planted a sleeper agent in the US with the goal of winning the presidency and driving the US into ruin they could not have done a better job than what Donald Trump is doing

Thank you, Prime Minister Takaichi, for your warm welcome to Tokyo.
Canada and Japan are close and long-standing partners. In a more uncertain world, we’re ready to deepen our partnership to the benefit of both our peoples.

That's the thing. It could take decades for the full impact of this bill to hit working-class Americans.

I dont understand the Conservatives who say he’s done nothing for Canada or stupid comments like Carney is on a constant vacation.
This man is working so hard for Canadians.!

Trump and his regime never has a plan about anything they do. All decisions are made according to Trump's whims. He constantly changes his mind and then everyone just "wings it". That's no way to run a government. It's sloppy reckless, + massively irresponsible. Definitely not good for Americans.

In just two months, Zohran Mamdani has:
-Launched the first stage of his universal childcare program
-Rolled Trump into releasing a detained Columbia student
-Used fair wages to get New Yorkers to clear streets and sidewalks during a blizzard
FYI: This is what leadership looks like.

I love the modern era and the progress I've seen in my lifetime. But, I do miss some aspects of the past --- as I guess many of us do.

Putin must be so pleased right now. More war and more chaos is exactly what he wants.

Authoritarians wage wars to deflect public attention from their own scandals. Donald Trump is no different.

A big part of the authoritarian playbook is war. War takes over the news. War blots out criticism. War divides a nation’s people, subjecting those against it to being called unpatriotic. War grants leaders all sorts of emergency powers. War consumes everything else.
We mustn’t let this war do so.

Hillarious that Trump didn't talk to congress about this strike on Iran. Since when does Trump ask permission to do anything, so stop asking. He's going to do what he wants & when. Get with the program, he doesn't care what anyone thinks. It's his way or no way, this is what you elected.

Fucking sick of people telling what Trump can't do while he repeatedly goes to war without the Congressional Approval DEMANDED by the Constitution, thus effectively suspended the Constitution. Which right now, because of this, isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Remember when they spent years telling us to panic over the hole in the ozone layer and then suddenly just stopped talking about it and nobody ever mentioned the ozone layer
Derek Thompson
@DKThomp
What happened is scientists discovered chlorofluorocarbons were bad for the ozone, countries believed them, the Montreal Protocol was signed, and CFC use fell by 99.7%, leading to the stabilization of the ozone layer, perhaps the greatest example of global cooperation in history.
