It’s probably decades of reading comic books that’s affected my mind, but once again I see absolutely nothing wrong with this picture

I’m sure it will sell out, but to me paying £35-£75 to see Frank Miller promote his new book seems expensive
Who Killed Nessie with a big BBA shortlisted sticker on it
The pile of graphic novels shortlisted for the British Book Awards
Who Killed Nessie is shortlisted for the graphic novel of the year at the BBAs
I'm celebrating this nomination by eating Too Much Chicken tonight! Noms for my nom! I still can't quite believe it, folks. Thanks for all the congrats today!
Rio model sheet by his creator Doug Wildey
While you’re all getting worked up about mad axe Jabba the Hutt, I’m still only recognising the original Marvel version of Jabba as being canon.
Here’s three different versions of the same page, because I seem to have quite a few different versions of the comic
Ivor Cutler by Michael Knowles, 1988, in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. Cutler's 'Life in a Scotch Sitting Room Vol 2' is one of the funniest books I've ever read. Hearing him read it aloud is even better.
I’m just hearing about the Starmer Iran Tik Tok thingy. I’m guessing Starmer’s spin team didn’t listen to the uncensored lyrics to Money For Nothing.
Back in stock now!
We just received a lovely restock delivery from the folks at TKO.
Grab your copy of Partisan by Garth Ennis and Steve Epting before we sell out again...

I don’t know how to tell you this, but all these accounts you follow on here aren’t crisps. We aren’t crisps, we’re not made of crisps. We are safe.
You however…
Are you finally admitting to us all that you are crisps?

I’ve only previously ever seen Dionnet & Bilal’s Exterminator 17 in colour. Here’s some of it in black & white from the pages of 1978 Heavy Metal mags

I posted a classic Charles Atlas ad on here the other week which got flagged as adult content, let’s see if the same thing happens again here…
The one here in Ipswich is having rent negotiations with the landlord, but apparently the post office is already leaving the store so I don’t have high hopes for its survival
This seems a good excuse to reshare Paul Neary’s 3 page comic strip to promote the video game
I think that vintage mags massively over charge, that said it’s rare you’ll ever find issues of Raygun cheap on eBay
Did you ever buy any issues of the UK equivalent Blah Blah Blah? They also seem to be fairly expensive to buy from EBay too
Don't suppose anyone knows anyone who wants to buy 15 copies of the iconic music magazine RAYGUN? Trying to sell them over on shitty old eBay!

As of today I’ve now got the set. I think. 7 is literally an odd number, could there be more?
(That Aja cover really stands out from all of them)
Dave Elliott was talking about doing a kickstarter for a collection a few years back, but nothing came of it. Perhaps with the success of A1Deadline he’ll give it ago, but I guess putting future issues of A1Deadline together probably eats up his time
It’s Monday morning again
To celebrate the release of a new Gorillaz album here’s four old magazine covers with them on
Cover art by Brian Bolland. Characters from top left: Cursitor Doom Janus Stark Dolmann and four of his dolls Tim Kelly and his eye
With all the recent talk about Albion getting reprinted by Rebellion, I thought I should finally get round to finish reading Titan’s companion book which I bought when it was released in 2007. I read most of it except Kelly’s Eye which didn’t look as interesting as the other stories in there
That reminds me, has that Batman/Hulk comic been reprinted? They have produced reissues of the Superman/Spider-man titles recently
Yes, but what if it’s him tooting his horn that will cause the world to end? Do you want to reconsider your position on this?
Art: Gary Frank
I’ve just had to look that up, just as well as I did as it wasn’t painted by who I thought it was! It was painted by Malcom McNeill who it seems painted a few comic magazine covers in the 1970s
The Guinea Pig - from Eagle's later years with art again by Gerry Haylock. At a time when both Dinky and Corgi toys were both very popular and detailed I love to think these guys popped down to the local toy shop to buy their refs!
Notice how he sneakily used his own name on the truck signage!
My mum read them to me when I was a kid, both of us finding them hysterical
Don’t let him blow his horn!
