I thought I was too old to be one of those people who'd be affected by seeing posts of other people's parties that I didn't get invited to.
Turns out I still care.

Just found out that one of my friends from college has died. I am so devastated. She was married to another one of my dear friends from college, and they have twin daughters who are starting their senior year in high school.
How do I best support them? They live in another state.

This morning I went out to my chicken coop and found three of my little chicks were dead.
I am so sad. All three were the same breed (buff laced Polish) and were all huddled together. 😢

Five months ago today, I received a liver transplant @Stanford that saved my life. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of the amazing gift that the donor gave me (and countless others).
