I don't draw very well from my imagination, unless it's a practiced image. I do a good job drawing stuff from life, but it does take time, patience, and a bit of a Zen state for me.

I'm pretty much no stack of cash will motivate Craig to return as Bond. They are lucky to have gotten an extra 2 movies with him.
Also, there are PLENTY of talented young actors to pull from.
That's actually a thing for why there is a propensity for queer folks to be called to the ministry when the act of being gay is the sin, but being gay is not. Then the only true place for one to still be part of the community is to be a celibate priest.
I need some mental floss now.
Josh gets to read the book this fall, which means I get to take him as my date to see the movie. :)
DING-DONG... oh.....*sigh* nevermind.
If you hit Nevada, you've gone too far.

I know I'm in the minority, but I think it's striking combinations that work in a quirky way. Also not trying to upstage other people that are more the focus of the event (POC)
yeah, that was a wild ride.
Hopeful news. I won't fully believe it until I see results. (gift link) www.nytimes.com/2025/04/25/u...
apparently if it wasn't for the company's investments and ability to sell carbon credits to other places, they would be entirely underwater.
ugh. I maintain that the DOD need only to swab schools and daycare facilities to culture the next germ warfare.
Josh, who is 15, but is tired, and still needing to go back to do more homework after dinner, is having a tough time pronouncing benevolent. Occasionally saying it as 'balevolent'. I asked if this meant someone was so nice and helpful they could only be an agent of evil.
step 1: put your dog on a leash and muzzle. Then we'll talk.
nice to see your real face. :)
DJT wants to play hardball, forgetting that China is one of the founding players of that game. He's not going to win this one. 5000 years of playing hardball.

I've been advocating for subsidized childcare for years. I'm glad someone has done it. <3
oh, wait! I remember now! his classmates got in trouble for texting each other in class. I told him how to 'pass notes' between himself and his classmate sitting next to him (sheet of paper under notebook, write quick, hide from teacher after seen.
Someone's got to teach the next generation.
I showed Josh something on the computer a while ago, I don't even remember what it was (pretty simple thing) and his response was "This is why GenX is the smartest generation"
Power to control the thoughts and values of the people.
This IS fascism. Make no mistake. 6/6
Some of the art was destroyed, some of the art was hidden in vaults (see The Monuments Men for a dramatization). Amusingly some of the art was up on the walls of the higher ups, showing that it was never about the art, it was about power. 5/6
These artists (and many more) were deemed unfit. They were banned from German culture. The Reich set up a mocking gallery to show people how very terrible these artists were, and isn't it good to be a Good German? Don't you like your pastoral landscapes? 4/6
Franz Marc's Der Blau Reiter is one that lives in my soul
Wassily Kandinsky, also has deep influences in my art, especially when I go in more abstract directions.
Kathe Kollwitz will speak to your dark heart that you hide in a drawer, remembering for you when you can't bring yourself to. 3/6
This exhibit was on Degenerate Art, and I went to see it 3 times. One trip I'm sure was with one of our art classes. Art that the Reich did not approve of, because it went against tradition. It pushed boundaries, was bright, powerful, thought provoking, but it was just.... simply beautiful. 2/6
Back in HS, there was an art exhibit, I think it was in the National Gallery of Art, which, is technically NOT part of the Smithsonian Inst., they all work pretty closely together, and is also free to the public and is heavily funded by the federal government.
