Solo Challenge Week 5!
Had to give a little love to the flute this week! Tried a few different techniques for improvising and was super happy with how it turned out! Plus it was fun to add more flute to my lofi track, Dark Skies~

Scale Challenge Week 5: Different rhythms were fun to try last week, but it’s still feeling stale with the metronome.
So I tried finding a song I could play my scale over! It felt more engaging after weeks of the metronome.
Maybe that’s something to try again!

Solo Challenge Week 3
Decided to work on some piano this week! Had fun taking a solo on my Portal inspired track, Depths of Beauty!
I definitely wanna keep working on making solos flow better, especially with different chord progressions than I'm accustomed to soloing over.
Scales are starting to feel a little dry and obligatory...
I remember feeling that way in my undergrad in practice sessions and school observations.
Anyone else had that experience when they played an instrument? Maybe it’s time to switch it up a little!
