The last printed game of the Nintendo GameCube era ended with the release of Madden NFL 08 in August of 2007.
The first model of the Wii features backward compatibility with its predecessor, however.

Agreed. I was too young for this one. I’m surprised Nintendo allowed the game on such a “family friendly” console.
Animal Crossing has always been so cute and beloved. That sort of charm was made for the GameCube!
