I have deleted my original reply as I had assumed it was because Jon's verbal ticks are part of his disability and to mute them would be muting his disability. But I've read that they muted other things he said but not this, so someone defo fucked up.

I agree with you, and I didn't expect to agree with all of their decisions. But I did expected to agree on basic moral principles, such as, child poverty - bad, genocide - bad, continuing tory austerity against the disabled community - bad.
I'm not going to write them off but I am very concerned.

Not just trans people, anyone.
The main targets will be women who don't conform to gender stereo types or aren't deemed pretty enough, but it could be anyone.

This is a really good idea. They want us to feel demoralised and helpless, but we can turn this around, if we make our voices heard.
Write to anyone and everyone. Give your personal story if you can, but always be polite.

Stones piled up to look like a cave in a rocky area. With flower heads spread amongst them and a cross in the background.
This is the one my Dad make this year. I'm sure we had them when I was a kid but it was all very Catholic.

The fact is people do lose support because they work. My friend lost her PIP because she was able to work part time.
Companies also penalise you for taking sick days. If you take 3 months off for back problems they say nothing but 3 odd days off for mental health problems you get a written warning!

Does the article explain why she hasn't done what everyone else has to do and pay by direct debit, spreading the winter energy costs throughout the year?

Will anyone be convicted? Will these media outlets be allowed to continue spreading their lies? Shouldn't we ban the people involved from future involvement in the media?
It's time for better media regulation, surely?

I've decided not to bother with him any more, his replies make me more angry than I am before I start emailing him.

My MPs the same. Wrote an email about how concerned I was about the safety of MPs after the threats to Jess Philips and asking for action to be taken to protect democracy. I also expressed concern for his safety. Got a couple of lines about how it was a little worrying what was happening to Jess....

Ignore the 'market mayhem', a lifeline for renters is being activated
As Westminster fixates on rising cost of government debt and political fallout surrounding Chancellor Rachel Reeves, renters across the country are finally moving closer to a fairer housing system
Renters Rights Bill passed the Commons this week. It hugely empowers tenants & guarantees several new rights, incl protection against no-fault eviction & cap on upfront rent. On the day, the press focused on a supposed market panic that has now been entirely negated open.substack.com/pub/theleadu...
