As part of a crafty exchange I've made these fluffy folk inspired mittens. It's my first time making them with a finger opening. Now I need a pair.

Protecting sheep from the fox 🦊
In Swedish folklore to protect your sheep from the fox when you let them. Let them all drink water from a fox's skull. After that you should let the animals walk through a horse harness held by the lady of the house, and then under her legs into the field.
Finally the cardigan is spun and photographed! It's spun and knitted from Herdwick sheep fiber!
Hoping to take some really nice photos of this soon. But it's a handspun handknit cardigan in Herdwick wool. The buttons are silver 925 Swedish folk buttons.

There are many different folklore creatures in Sweden connected to the name "underjordiska". Vittra, jordfolk etc. They are often described as looking like normal humans, some pretty and some ugly. Because of their human look usually they blend in with everyone else.
