Getting close to finishing the first season of The Pitt. I'm not much of a medical drama-guy, but this show is just bonkers good.

Went to see a movie with the missus. When we left the theatre there was about 15cm more snow on the ground than when we entered. Getting back home again was quite the adventure. Good times!

I couldn't resist the new Diablo 2 update, so I'm levelling a new Paladin. I'd almost forgotten how good this game is.

A monumental sci-fi structure rises from desert sands against a starlit twilight sky. The weathered gray tower features geometric architecture with a glowing blue spherical element at its center, creating an otherworldly beacon in the barren landscape.

I've been wanting a way to post short posts and thoughts to my website that is separate from the main blog feed, and this is what I ended up with.

The Ships of Innsmouth print. Ten strange ship illustrations, drawn traditionally with ink) laid out on a page. A black and white border, similar to one you'd get in an atlas or on a map, surrounds the page.

I've been spending most of today adding a system for displaying books read/movies watched on my website. Should be a fun little feature once I get it published.
The house is empty so I'm doing the only reasonable thing: blasting Gojira - From Mars to Sirius as loud as I can.
A 3D rendered architectural scene featuring a stark monochromatic interior with geometric seating rows and metallic columns. A single diagonal red carpet cuts dramatically through the empty space, leading toward an ornate door beneath a decorative red emblem, creating a powerful contrast against the gray surroundings.

A sci-fi illustration showing a massive cylindrical tower descending through concentric circular platforms into darkness. The tower glows with warm orange-yellow light from horizontal bands, contrasting against cool blue-gray industrial architecture. A small figure in red stands on one platform, emphasizing the structure's immense scale.

I animated this one too!
Getting the chrome to look like the reference was a fun challenge. I had a good time figuring out how to make the purple wall texture procedurally too.

Here's a hot tip that I guarantee will make your life much more pleasant: if someone posts about a thing that they like, but you don't, you don't actually have to reply to that person. You can just move on and spend your energy one something more productive.
Definitely a book that is worth reading twice!
